Required Download:
Instructions (1st method):
- Make sure you have installed CWM using the guide given above
- You will notice that when you will click on Reboot after installing CWM, it will appear if you want to root your device or not
- Select “Yes” and continue
- When phone will boot up, you will find no SuperSU app in app drawer or any other super user app
- Now head over to Play Store and install SuperSU (Free) | SuperSU (Pro – Paid)
- As soon as it will be installed, open SuperSU
- A popup will appear and tell you that it needs to update SuperSU binaries
- Confirm updating binaries
- Now again a pop up will appear with two options; Normal | CWM/TWRP
- You have to select “Normal”
- Now it will automatically update SuperSU binaries
- You can verify root access by installing Root Checker App
- If root access is not verified (It will not happen normally), then proceed to 2nd method explained below
Instructions (2nd method):
- Copy downloaded UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.86.zip onto internal or external SD Card of your smartphone
- Now boot into CWM mode
- To do so, turn off your smartphone completely
- Now turn it on, but as soon as you see purple LED turned on, press Volume up and down button repeatedly until you are in CWM mode
- When you are in CWM Mode, select Install Zip
- Now navigae to the folder or storage where you have put UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.86.zip
- Confirm its installation and then reboot your smartphone
- You will find SuperSU app in app drawer
- Now enjoy and do whatever you want with your smartphone!
